Hope Kids

Our family have been part of the Hope Kids since September of last year.
Hope Kids provides ongoing events & activities and a powerful, unique support community for children with cancer and other life-threatening medical conditions. They surround these remarkable children and their families with the message that hope can be a powerful medicine.
The reason I am writing this entry is to ask my friends and family if you would be willing to donate to this cause. I am not asking for large amounts just small donations if possible.

I am running a 5K with a few friends to try and raise money for this wonderful organization.

Here is our site:

also, here is a great video that shows some Hope Kids and the things they go through.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

Yesterday was the first day of school for Haiden and Tre. Haiden is in 4th grade, which by the way is so weird! Where does the time go?!! Tre is starting 2nd grade. So far (ok so it has only been one day), he seems to be liking it.

Today was the first day of 1st grade for Raegan. She did great when I dropped her off but a friend of mine was there and said she cried. Thankfully that friend has a little boy in Raegans class so she paired them up and that seemed to fix the tears (thanks for the pictures Leslie!!!). I am crossing my fingers that Rae does better about getting dropped off this year, last year she was not good at it at all, the whole year!
These are pictures my kids took. They have nothing at all to do with school. Just funny to see what they take pictures of.

Football Practice

This has been a crazy week! Haiden has had football practice every day for 2 hours. He has done really good and I am very proud at how hard he is working to be on this team. Here is an exciting video for you.

and you thought you'd be seeing Haiden practicing!

P.S. Hope I don't get kicked off of blogger for posting obscene material!

Baseball...

Haiden has had a TON of baseball with the Sidewinders. They just went to the tournament of champions and got 2nd place. The boys all played really hard and kept the score close at 12-9. Haiden hit one ball 186 feet. He really played good and it was fun watching him enjoy being out there with the team. On Thursday he made a catch that he had no business making, both teams were standing up in amazement - one of his teamates said "that was an ESPN catch!" hehe. I don't have any pictures because my camera is broken (Dangit!).

Now we start football. Tomorrow!

School program, baseball, sleeping kids and a murder most foul.

I couldn't get any great pictures at Raegans year end program. 1/2 because our camera is not working and 1/2 because I was crying the entire time. (Yes, I will readily admit I am a cry baby!)

This is Rae doing her fashion walk - she was a bit shy about it and didn't really flaunt her stuff. Still very cute!

Next up we have baseball. No, I don't have any pictures of Haiden playing, just of Tre, Rae and Xander playing with the camera.

I just thought I'd throw these in here - hehe

And last but certainly not least. My kids took picture evidence of their dastardly deed.

See the snail, innocently climbing on the swing set.
See the snail, snatched my my kids.

See the snail, crawling on the ground, probably trying in vain to escape his fate.

R.I.P. little snail. I am sorry.
