Rest in peace Danobi
Remember her running around the back yard, barking at everyone that passes by, scaring the crap out of a lot of bikers and runners. Remember her running and catch her tennis ball and stubbornly refusing to give it back to you even though she wanted you to throw it for her. Remember her carrying her squeaky toy around the yard until she gets the squeaker out, then she carefully carrying that around. Remember her trying to come and sit on my lap, even though she was much bigger than me. Remember her being queen of the food, she might not want to eat it but she didn't want the other dogs to eat it either. Remember the kids riding on her when they were smaller. Remember her laying on the flowers or garden plants you just planted. Remember when she took an entire loaf of bread off of the counter top because she could. Remember the time she took a bite out of Ron's butt. Remember the second time she tried to take a bite out of his butt and got his blackberry instead. Remember how she would patiently wait for you to give her a treat, she would wait as long as it took. Remember her wagging tail that was a lot more like a whip sometimes. Remember the time she ate a gopher - much to Darrin and the kids delight. Remember what a great dog she was.
We love you Danobi, you will be missed!

This past week we had the opportunity to go to Cooperstown NY for a baseball tournament. WOW. What a fun experience. The boys stay at Dreams Park in the 'barracks' with the coaches during the week. They trade pins with the other 100+ teams that are there. The fields were beautiful. I think Haiden had a great time. He even hit a home run over the fence! I don't have a picture of that or of the many great catches he made out in the field because I am really terrible at having the camera out when he does the cool stuff :)
Here he is pitching!
This face cracks me up - he swung at a pitch he knew he shouldn't have :)
Here he popped up - thankfully the other team did not catch it
sliding into second
making one heck of a throw from left field to 3rd base I think

Unfortunately I forgot the camera for most of the non baseball related activities that we did. This is just behind the house we stayed in. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! There was a pond and a creek (which the kids tried to fish in hehe) We saw some frogs and a turtle. The kids LOVED it there.
