More of our Trip

Look - my kids are running vertical! Just kidding, I just don't know how to switch the picture the right way.

Candyland night at the GKTW, each night was a different theme. Once again AWESOME!

These are more pics from the trip - some Universal Studios, which was AWESOME btw - with Raegan's pass if they saw us they would grab us out of line and take us to the front.

Feeding the stingrays at seaworld, we did this twice! We also fed the sea lions and the dolphins (I'll post pics of that tomorrow)

Meeting one of the characters from a show at Universal.

Waiting for lunch.

I'll post more about our trip (with a few less pictures) tomorrow. Right now I am going to cook dinner!

Our Make-a-wish trip

Ok, this will be long and have lots of pictures. So... bear with me :) I know, the most boring thing can be watching someone elses home vidoes and this is a bit like that. Sorry - there are over 450 pictures so I'll try to narrow it down hehe.

First when we got there the kids just HAD to go swimming - we fly all the way across the country to go swimming! hehe - pretty much that is all they wanted to do. So, we did. Xander almost drowned he decided to jump in the pool - lucky he had a floaty on, problem was it floated him face first half the time so he only wanted to sit on the stairs after that (not that I blame him).

This is Miss Merry - she is one of the bunnies that resides at Give Kids The World Village. She came to tuck the kids in the first night we were there. Super Cute. I can't say enough good things about the village - everything there was 100% geared towards the kids. The restaurant only had kid tables, same with the ice cream parlor (which was open from 7:30 am to 9:30 pm - all the free icecream you can eat - which is why I gained 84 pounds while we were there!) The kids room has a master bathroom attached along with a jetted tub - Darrin turned it on for the kids and sprayed the bathroom wall with one of the jets (bath wasn't full enough hehehe), while this happened I went to check our shoes in the dryer (we got SOAKED!) and noticed that WOOPS our dryer was on FIRE! Yeah, I am sure they just loved us! Luckily we caught it and it only damaged the dryer nothing else. Fun times always with the Smith Family :)

Day 2:
Raegan's wish was to BE Cinderella so of course we had to make that happen. We went to the Bippity Boppity Boutique where Raegan got to choose her outfit, including shoes, crown and sceptor. They put it in the dressing room all set out. Then she got to have makeup, nails and hair done to get the full princess effect. This was so special and it was so fun to see her all dressed up and so happy. She just loved that all the disney workers bowed or curtsied to her.

Just our luck that the fairy Godmother was just outside the castle to finish off the princess experience!

After Raegan's makeover we rode a couple of rides then headed over to Epcot for lunch with the princesses. We had to run to make it and were a few minutes late - lucky for us they still let us have our appointment! Tre wanted nothing to do with any of the picture taking at this point, I think he was stressed about having to run so far!

This is pretty much the sum of the vacation for Haiden. He did not want to go on ANY of the rides, big or small so he stayed with me or Darrin depending on who took the other kids on the ride.

That Darrin, just can't keep him off the playground for anything! Hehe, I thought it was pretty cute that he went down the big slide with the kids.

We're back!

Just to let you know we are back! I am having some downloading issues so I haven't been able to get pictures onto my computer yet. Working on it today - hopefully I can show you our 12,000,000 photos we took :) ok, I won't really show you that many - maybe.

Busy busy busy...

I know, my blog has been boring at best. Sorry. There is lots of things going on at my house - as usual. Most of them I don't want to post hahaha. I now have another wall of art thanks to Xander and 1 from Tre`. I guess I will just give up for now and paint when they are all grown up and out of the house :)

I decided to go ahead and make new blankets for all of the kids, I know, I am crazy. I have finished Haiden and Raegans - but I must say it is some of the worst sewing I have ever seen. The kids seem to like them so that is all that matters I suppose.

This is Daddy tackling the kids - thought it was cute so I threw it in here. I really should be getting ready for our trip and not blogging - I hope to update with some awesome pictures while we are there!

It's LOST! No, wait IT'S FOUND!

***UPDATE*** She found it :) WOO HOO!

Somehow we have lost "yellow blanket". I have checked all of the places I can think of but it hasn't turned up yet :( This has been Rae's most favorite blanket. She takes it with her quite a bit. Of course it had to be on a steroid week so she has been a little extra sad about it. I guess I will try to go find some similar fabric with the missy today and see if we can make a new "favorite" blanket. Other than the lost blanket we survived another time being on the roids. I joked that instead of a countdown of days left on treatment we should do one with how many more times she will be on the roids. The kids seem to be getting more excited to go on the Make-a-wish trip (which is only a week away!!!). I think it will be a nice break for everyone.

On another note, if you know someone that wants a really cute rat terrier that just can't seem to get the whole potty training thing let me know. Right now Hines is an outdoor dog. He is going to be REALLY sad come winter but he just doesn't get that I don't like him using my house as a toilet. He is a cute dog wtih a fun quirky personality but pooping in my house is going to be the end of him. ARGH!
