I can't believe she is finally done. Such a great day, I can't even tell you! I have been a big fat emotional mess today.

Port (Tubie) is OUT!

Raegan had her port removed today! WOO HOO! She did very good -especially since surgery was behind and she had to wait longer (without eating!!) This is her coloring with Darrin before surgery and riding the wagon after. She is such a trooper! (sorry about the pics, they were taken with my phone)

Rocket Derby!

Tonight was Haiden's Rocket Derby for scouts. It was fun to help him get the rocket ready. (ok, not so fun running all over town trying to find green soap tincture), anyway... He was one of the only 2 kids that got the rocket to the correct destination so he got a prize (woo hoo!).


I have a question - how come girls don't get to do these fun things?!?!!

We're home!

Well, it was a very fun and long vacation but of course it has to come to an end so we decided we better come home. I think the kids had a really good time and I know that Darrin and I did. It is nice to be home and now I feel like I need a vacation from my vacation hehe why is that?

San Diego

We are having lots of fun here in San Diego. Monday we went to Legoland, it was perfect for our kids, all of them could ride almost every ride, I think Xander was only too short for one or two of them.




Tuesday we hit San Diego Zoo and the beach - we only took a few pictures at the zoo and I forgot the camera when we went to the beach. It was really cool though - we went to a spot where we could see a bunch of seals and it had a lot of tide pools and areas for shell searching. The kids liked racing with the waves.



Wednesday we went to Knotts Berry Farm. It was tons of fun, unfortunately for Raegan she was too short for most of the rides :( she did however get to meet snoopy and he gave her a little stuffed snoopy of her own.




(this is Darrin and Tre - front left - on an insane water ride) Tre LOVED all of the rides, he would go on anything. Haiden however is not super fond of any of the coasters so he only went on one, a small one and then that was it for him (click on the picture to enlarge it and see Haiden's face).


Today we went to the Wild Animal Kingdom. Darrin and I thought it was great, the kids were not quite as impressed. Not sure if that is because we had already gone to the zoo or what.

All in all this has been a very fun vacation.

Vacation

We have arrived in St. George! We got in just before 9 last night so we just went to bed :)


Usually 2 of our kids sleep on the floor and the other 2 on the bed, this time they all wanted to sleep on the bed. This is what I found when I went to check on them.

Today we went swimming, went to pirate island pizza (fun place with kid themed video games etc.) then to a really cool park - the weather is very nice so far. It is nice to get away and play!





This one was supposed to be like a skateboard that you stand on. Our kids thought it was funner to lay on it and have us push them so they would go flying down!

Tre made himself sick on this one - Darrin would grab it and spin him around - he wanted to keep going and going. Then he decided we needed to go home and "take a rest" hehehe


Couldn't help but try out all the fun toys myself!

Baby Pigs

The baby pigs have arrived. They are super cute (for now). Raegan wanted to get in with them, hold them and wondered why we didn't have one at our house. I told her one would be at our house pretty soon, in our freezer :)

This little bugger tried to escape but thankfully our neighbor Dave caught him! We're gonna call him Farmer Dave from now on. Or maybe the pig whisperer.... hmmm.
