Busy busy busy...

I know, my blog has been boring at best. Sorry. There is lots of things going on at my house - as usual. Most of them I don't want to post hahaha. I now have another wall of art thanks to Xander and 1 from Tre`. I guess I will just give up for now and paint when they are all grown up and out of the house :)


I decided to go ahead and make new blankets for all of the kids, I know, I am crazy. I have finished Haiden and Raegans - but I must say it is some of the worst sewing I have ever seen. The kids seem to like them so that is all that matters I suppose.




This is Daddy tackling the kids - thought it was cute so I threw it in here. I really should be getting ready for our trip and not blogging - I hope to update with some awesome pictures while we are there!

It's LOST! No, wait IT'S FOUND!

***UPDATE*** She found it :) WOO HOO!

Somehow we have lost "yellow blanket". I have checked all of the places I can think of but it hasn't turned up yet :( This has been Rae's most favorite blanket. She takes it with her quite a bit. Of course it had to be on a steroid week so she has been a little extra sad about it. I guess I will try to go find some similar fabric with the missy today and see if we can make a new "favorite" blanket. Other than the lost blanket we survived another time being on the roids. I joked that instead of a countdown of days left on treatment we should do one with how many more times she will be on the roids. The kids seem to be getting more excited to go on the Make-a-wish trip (which is only a week away!!!). I think it will be a nice break for everyone.

On another note, if you know someone that wants a really cute rat terrier that just can't seem to get the whole potty training thing let me know. Right now Hines is an outdoor dog. He is going to be REALLY sad come winter but he just doesn't get that I don't like him using my house as a toilet. He is a cute dog wtih a fun quirky personality but pooping in my house is going to be the end of him. ARGH!

Always good for a laugh.

I just had to share this picture with everyone - much to the mortification of my husband. Raegan is the only girl in our house and I guess decided that she wanted to play dress-ups. So, thankfully she has a little brother willing to play along:


Also, I had Grandma Smith take Raegan to school on Thursday and Friday - guess what??? NO TEARS!! The little stinker. She probably will miss school Monday because it is clinic day - we will see what happens on Tuesday.

Need Some Advise!

Ok people, need some advise! Raegan is having a REALLY hard time adjusting to the new kindergarten schedule. She cries just about every day that I take her (so far she has only not cried 2 times). Today she even chased after me while she was sobbing her eyes out. WHAT DO I DO?!!?! She has to go, and honestly I really think she likes it once she gets in there. AHHH!

Other than that things around here are the crazy normal that we have. Haiden is starting fall baseball as well as flag football so I don't anticipate seeing him until December - hehe. Tre, well Tre is hating school and we are working on different things to see what we can do to help him out. And, last but not least Xanman or S.O.S. as daddy calls him. I am slowly working on potty training, not trying to force it, just letting him take his own time about it. Some days he does great, others not so much. He follows Raegan around and is her buddy - he wants to do everything that she does - pretty cute actually. Maybe he can talk her into not crying when I drop her off!

First day of School for Raegan

Whew, one more "first day of school" hehe. Raegan starts kindergarten today - I can't believe she is already in school. My kids have grown up so fast! Even though she only goes 1/2 days it will be strange not to have her here at home with me. She is really excited and a tad nervous about going. I get to go with her today for the first 1/2 hour (all parents do), that should be fun and help her nervousness. I just hope she doesn't cry when I leave, I am not good at that- makes me want to say OK nevermind! She can stay home! hehe. **UPDATE** Raegan did really good, she got a little sad for a minute but I told her she couldn't cry - mommy however did cry! Sheesh!

Also, I forgot to put this up - Raegan had her first dance class yesterday - she was really excited about going, she hasn't been able to go since she was diagnosed with ALL so it is fun for her and for me to see her be able to go :)

Ouch.

Yesterday the kids were out riding bikes. Haiden accidentally crashed into Xander - who then proceeded to fall off of his bike and majorly bonk his nose. After 2 hours it was still slowly bleeding so I decided to take him in. He has a deviated septum - nothing too major, we just have to watch it. He seems fine today - jumping around just like normal. I wonder if he will want to ride bikes today. My guess is yes.

Feeding the geese and..... not feeding the geese.

I took the kids over to the pond by our house to feed the geese - they had a great time! Xander kept trying to scare them (typical) and Raegan was trying to get one to eat the food out of her hand - didn't happen. Tre just had fun throwing the food out there :) Just as we were leaving we saw this mama duck and her baby - sooo cute! (by the way I don't know why this is showing as a link - ignore that part)






Haiden was much too busy to come with us (just like his dad!)
